Get to know JT

JT loves to work with clients who are curious about themselves and interested in understanding themselves in relationships better. His work primarily focuses on couples, life transitions, and men’s issues. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, JT welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds, sexual and relationship orientations, and faith practices.

JT’s approach to therapy is non-directive and expressive, which means you won’t get strict head nodding and “mhm’s” from him. His process is collaborative and rooted in an authentic exchange; think of it as a call and response exercise. His methods are clinically based, but his language won’t have you feeling like you’re at a jargon show. You can expect to be challenged, motivated, and seen.

JT believes the relationships with ourselves and others are all about choice and connection, and it is his goal to help restore, recommit, and strengthen those with individuals and couples. As a psychotherapist, JT supports people who want to better understand their dilemmas through deep self-reflection and uncovering root causes. His work as a psychotherapist is to meet you where you are and support you through the process of rediscovery. From there, your work will be focused on re-introductions to the self and those around us in an effort to build and maintain the types of connections we want through the choices we make.

In an increasingly polarized, isolated, and fast-paced world, it is not about our connection to power, but it’s our power of connection that can heal and transform us all.

Let’s get to work.
